Science is primarily a human activity, and as such, it is human beings that drive science into greater heights. This page is both a personal homage and a public attempt to introduce these great people who have dedicated their lives to advance science.

I myself am a scientist, and I have seen how my colleagues toil and trudge their way through bureaucratic quagmire, academic pressure, and financial torpor just to excavate even a single grain of knowledge to add to the collective granola.

What I plan to do is to illustrate through writing how their lives shaped their science and how their science informed their lives.

There is science to be done and a revolution to be won!
